EU vehicle inspection (periodic technical inspection)

As an officially approved workshop, Din Firmabil AS performs the EU vehicle inspection (EU-kontroll) on all types of passenger cars and vans. The EU inspection is a safety check that all vehicles must undergo at regular intervals to ensure they meet current safety and emissions requirements.

During an EU inspection with us, the following items are checked:

  • Brakes and braking system
  • Steering and suspension
  • Visibility (wipers, washers, mirrors)
  • Lights and reflectors
  • Axles, wheels and tires
  • Undercarriage and body
  • Emissions and environmental impact
  • Other important safety components

The EU inspection normally takes 45-60 minutes. After the inspection you receive a detailed report on the car's condition and any defects. If your car has defects, we can often fix them on the spot so the car passes.

Remember that it is your responsibility as owner to make sure the car is inspected before the deadline. We are happy to send you a reminder when the next inspection is approaching.
